Privacy Notice

This website is run by Start Right Up Private Limited, a relocation consultancy in Singapore. For anything about your personal data, email our Data Protection Officer, Unyada Getgotin, at enquiry@startrightup.com.

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number, nationality, the service you are interested in, your timeline and your message.
• Survey: your name, email, phone number, country, the services you need, who is moving with you, your arrival date and when you are free to talk.
• Comments on articles: your name, email and comment.
• Payments: made through Stripe. We receive your name, email, the package and the amount, never your card number.
• How you found us: if you arrived from one of our links or ads, its tag is saved with your enquiry.

• To reply to you, advise you and provide the services you ask for.
• To see which pages, links and ads bring enquiries, so we can improve them.
• To publish comments after we approve them.
• To keep the business and payment records the law requires.

Enquiries are kept in our Google Workspace account (email and a Google Sheet). The website runs on our hosting provider's servers, and payments are processed by Stripe. When you become a client, we share only the details needed with schools, property agents, movers and other providers working on your move, as set out in our Terms & Conditions. We never sell your personal data.

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site sets no tracking cookies unless you choose Accept. If you accept, we use:

• Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages are read.
• Meta Pixel, to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Some services set their own cookies only when you use them: YouTube when you press play on a video, and Stripe when you pay, to keep the payment secure. Your browser also remembers your cookie choice, and the link you arrived from until you close the tab.

We keep your details for as long as we need them to answer you and provide our services, and after that only for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Then we delete them.

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Email enquiry@startrightup.com and we will reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer help with some services. This notice follows Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. Visitors in Thailand have similar rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act.

If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
